Maxim, your style is often called bold and provocative. What inspires you to create such images?
How interestingly you described me) well, if you compare with colleagues from bright celebrities, then I would not say that I dress boldly or provocatively. Judge for yourself, 60 percent of my images are classics, either restrained or stylized, but definitely not provocative. Although sometimes I want to get out of such a comfort zone.
I put together almost all my images for concerts or events myself, combining what you have or buying new ones. But I have a tailor who helps edit or improve everything. For example, my last white suit was completely tailored.
Do you have a favorite era in fashion history that influences your work the most?
If I were to choose from eras of fashion, I have reverted to Art Deco, the 20s-30s, Gatsby. I really like the visuals of these years, the gloss, both in men's and women's looks.
In general, some kind of stylish classics with complementary elements. That's why I have a lot of suits - both two-tone and with stones.
Well, I also like modern ones.
What three key things, in your opinion, define modern style?
Modern style is, firstly, a mix of any styles, trends and fantasies. That is, today at a Soviet event you can meet guests dressed in completely different styles, but in any case, it is now very fashionable to wear Oversized, not only up, but also down.
What can define modern style: Individuality, rare color scheme, Unusual accessories
What do you think is the biggest offense in the world of fashion today?
But I wouldn’t say that this is a “misdemeanor”, but I miss the femininity of the 40s-50s in women’s images.
This is Dior, Monroe, Chanel and so on.
For me, the ideal couple is a man in an evening suit, and a lady in a beautiful dress, not in trousers)
And it’s also a pity that going to cultural places: theater, opera, ballet, concerts – have ceased to be a social outing for visitors, that is, it has long been possible to put on jeans and a sweater, not wash your hair and shoes and come to a performance.
Do you have favorite designers or brands that you always enjoy watching?
I wouldn’t say that I have a favorite designer, this is more the path of the female half, but I do have ± favorite stores where I know that I can definitely find something for myself. It can even be a large chain of clothing stores, it doesn’t matter, the main thing is that I like it. And it doesn’t always have to be expensive for it to be looked good.
What future fashion trend inspires you the most?
The trend for the future – as far as I know, elegant looks are coming back, what I like))
But today the fashion world is changing very quickly, and if somewhere in the West this style is popular, then in the East everything can be the opposite. I don’t really follow fashion, because at any moment I can put on a classic black suit, patent leather shoes, an open bow tie – and that’s it, I’m ready

What advice would you give to young designers who want to make a name for themselves in this industry?

- Cooperate with showrooms. This will allow you to present collections to a wide audience, get feedback from buyers and experts, and also find new clients.
- Participate in fashion events and shows. For example, in presentations of a new collection, photo shoots, interviews and other events that will help promote the brand.
- Be present in the media space. Give interviews, write expert articles so that you are published in various publications. This will increase recognition.
- Choose a memorable name. It is desirable that it sounds stylish both in Russian and in Latin. You can contact professionals to develop a name.
